1. Data Collection & Usage
AutoClik does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, browsing history, or user information.
Both the Web Extension and the Desktop Client operate entirely locally on your device. There are no background analytics, no telemetry, and no remote servers receiving your data.
2. Why We Require Specific Browser Permissions
To function properly, the AutoClik browser extension requests the following permissions. Here is exactly how they are used locally:
- Read and change all your data on all websites (
<all_urls>&scripting): This permission is strictly required for the extension to interact with the Document Object Model (DOM) of the webpage you are actively viewing. It allows the script to identify the HTML element resting beneath your cursor and execute a standard click action on it. It is not used to read your content or monitor your browsing behavior. - Storage: This is used locally on your machine to remember your preferred clicking interval (e.g., 1.0 seconds) so you do not have to re-enter it every time you open the extension.
3. Desktop Client (Windows .exe)
The AutoClik desktop application does not require an internet connection to operate. It does not monitor keystrokes outside of the bounds of its user interface and does not transmit local system data.
4. Third-Party Services
AutoClik does not integrate with any third-party advertising frameworks, tracking scripts, or analytics providers.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we update AutoClik to include new features, we may update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will reflect our ongoing commitment to zero data collection.
